Jackie Gillies is well known for her work as a Medium and her roles on “The Real Housewives of Melbourne” and “I’m a Celebrity Get Me Out Of Here” but in her newly released book, Jackie talks about the influence domestic violence has had on her life and spirit and how she had to retrain her thinking to take back control herself.
Jackie takes us into the heart of her story of climbing out of abuse and how she helped her sister do the same, by replacing the classic “good girl” with a powerful sense of self respect and personal responsibility, to become the “shining” example of Croatian Australian women they are today.
And as always Kel and Pam take it all a little further and this conversation struck so pretty heavy chords with both of them. A charged and important episode exploring the epidemic of domestic violence prevalent in this country and how we can change it.
