If you're a regular listener you’ll know that Writes4Women focuses on a four different episode types each month:

  • Craft of Writing

  • Heart of Writing

  • Business of Writing

  • New Release Feature Author

If you’re a writer there’s a wealth of information available in both the back list and the new episodes.

If you're a reader you'll love tuning in to hear how your favourite women writers craft their stories and finding new voices to add to your bookshelf.

Along with my original podcasting partner Kel, we were initially inspired to create the podcast after multiple conversations about women's writing and women's rights. The podcast has evolved into a weekly chat with women writers ranging from commercial fiction to literary, memoir to short story and poetry. It’s all about championing women's voices and creating a community of women writers to support each other and share what we have learnt along the way.

Creating this podcast has so far been a labour of love and I want to keep growing the Writes4Women community. As a solo host, squeezing the preparation, recording, editing and producing in the cracks between my writing can be a challenge but it’s one I want to continue to take up.

The Writes4Women Patreon page give listeners the opportunity to support the podcast, keep it going and growing. It also gives you the chance to become part of the Writes4Women community and to have an active voice in upcoming topics and guests.

There are a range of membership tiers. Some of the benefits of being a patron include:

  • A monthly subscriber only newsletter, Wisdom from The Convo Couch filled with the top tips from that month’s episodes

  • Suggesting guests and topics for future episodes

  • A monthly additional chat with a guest focusing on Four Curly Questions

  • And there’s more …

There’s so much more planned and I would love you to be a part of it.
